This Level I program offers an introduction to the Spanish wine industry, visiting each region and covering only the most important designations of origin.
Both professionals and aficionados receive clear information pertaining to the most important grape varieties, history, wine styles, climate, soils, wine tourism and gastronomy of the visited regions.
In each chapter, the most important 'Denominaciones de Origen' will be covered. Tutored tasting of over 40 wines.
Online students will be provided with guidance in purchasing locally some of the wines suggested by our faculty for the different tastings.

About the Certification & Exam
- The Spanish Wine Experience is a certification offered by The American College in Spain, an American university located in Andalusia, Spain and affiliated with Florida´s Broward College.
Registration for SWE Level I On-site includes:
